Application Procedures

Additional information about the Graduate Programs can be found on the NDSU Graduate School Website.

In particular you may want to look at the Graduate Bulletin which contains all university policies as well as program policies and course listings.

All applications are now made online. Go to the NDSU Graduate School Website for relevant information and a link to the application forms.

Applications must include: a completed application form, a statement of what the applicant hopes to learn and accomplish in graduate school, three letters of recommendation, transcripts from previous institutions of higher education, and general GRE scores. Applicants from non-English speaking countries must also report scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language.

HINT: One of the key ingredients to acceptance in our program is a match between your interests and what we have to offer. In the application you will be asked to write a personal statement. This should be relatively short and should specifically address your research interests, the faculty member or members you wish to work with, and why you would want to work with them.

To have the best consideration for acceptance and support, please apply before February 15. Applications will continue to be considered after this date as space remains available.
